Hosiery In Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade For 2012: Megan & Liz Mace; Radio City Rockettes;

I thought that we could celebrate Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade for 2012, by looking at some hosiery. I could only find 1. Read the rest of the blog post, and scroll down past the first 2 to see it.

Most of the people in the photos did not wear any hosiery at all. Of those who might have, most were so far away, that we would not be able to see it. These first 2 photos show performers rehearsing.

Megan & Liz Mace sang. They did not mind showing us a bit of leg.

The Radio City Rockettes did not wear hosiery during their rehearsal, but they looked great in leggings. It seems that leggings might be an ideal choice for when hosiery is too sheer for the weather.

As a bonus, here are a couple of photos from 2010.

I like the way that a gal's leg has a bandage underneath.

I think that the 2 girls were just about to finish flipping. Am I right?

Thank you for reading!

  1. I think that in the photo of The Radio City Rockettes, that there are some if not all are wearing hosiery. Knowing how they perform, and that they are wearing their dancing/performance shoes, it wouldn't surprise me if they where wearing hosiery under their leggings and pants. One thing is for sure, the one on the far right is defiantly wearing black sheer hosiery. I also think that the far left 3 ladies are wearing as well. The one on the far left, her feet just look like they have some on, but tough to tell. The next one in I really think that she is wearing, because her skin tone is not that light. The next one in, her feet seen to pink to not be wearing. Then the other three have about the same feet color as most of the group, and that is why I think that they all might be wearing their performance hosiery with their dancing shoes.

    1. Yeah, I think that might be wearing hosiery. The one on the far right definitely does.

      1 thing that makes it hard to tell is the way that our skin turns light in the winter. I would expect that their leg skin to turn lighter in colour than their face skin, and that their lightened skin would be more uniform in colour.
